Founders’ Statement (Our Mission and Heart)
Our neighborhood makes us better people.
We live in a community that truly embraces all walks of life — one that had to be open-minded and accepting of us creating this kind of establishment among them.
All three of us come from corporate backgrounds where stewardship and operations were our bread and butter.
When we stepped away from our industries, our hands and hearts suddenly became still, and we found ourselves asking:
“How do we serve?”
Kahlil Gibran once wrote,
“For to be idle is to become a stranger unto the seasons, and to step out of life’s procession that marches in majesty and proud submission toward the infinite.”
He also reminded us that,
“Work is love made visible.”
These words became our spark —
a reminder that to serve, to connect, and to build something meaningful within our community
is to step back into life’s procession
with gratitude, purpose,
and love made tangible through our work.
Lodging, for us, is intimate and deeply personal.
It’s never just about heads in beds —
it’s about creating a space where guests can experience something far beyond a vanilla-box sleepover with a coffeemaker.
Each room is an enigma, designed with intention and story,
so that our guests leave a little lighter,
a little more inspired than when they arrived.
We don’t just want to feed breakfast —
we want to feed the soul.
Every decision, from the color on the walls
to the art on the mantle,
is guided by one question:
“How will our guests experience this space?”
Because true hospitality isn’t only about where you stay.
It’s about how you feel when you’re here —
and who you become when you leave.
